Band of thieves and purveyors of ineptitude.....

It actually does not matter what aisle of the 'political' spectrum you belong to, this rudderless leadership has failed Nigerians, more-so even worse, since the inception of the 4th Republic in May, 1999.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) held sway for fifteen mostly inglorious years (1999-2015) under the stewardship of the following:
a) Rtd. General Olusegun Obasanjo (1999-2007)
b) The late Umaru Musa Yar'Adua (2007-2010)
c) Goodluck Ebele Jonathan (2010-2015).
For at least 12 of those first 15 years of the 4th Republic, corruption, by and large, became the norm while the climate created by avaricious greed, further engendered a general state of lawlessness.
Kidnappings and killing orgies became commonplace and have continued unabated, till today.
While some may say that there was a certain degree of accountability, with the accompanying restoration of some semblance of sanity during Yar'Adua's brief reign, the truth remains that his vision of a better Nigeria was never going to see the light of day, given the scavengers and marauders he was surrounded by.
For this piece, we will absolve Umaru Yar'Adua of some of the PDP misrule when one considers that he was never in charge, as the cabal (whose stranglehold on the proverbial throat of Nigeria has never been in doubt) led by the one Olusegun Aremu Obasanjo et al essentially pulled his strings. When he (Yar'Adua) then dared to think for himself, he was murdered by the demonic powers behind the Nigerian throne of oppression.
Then came Olusegun Aremu Obasanjo again, as in his quest to maintain his inordinate hold and that of his fellow 'barbarians at the gate' on the destiny of Nigeria, he ensured that the next Nigerian leader would come from his "political family tree' (unfortunately, nothing good has ever come from any Obasanjo tree including his biological family tree). Thus, the dysfunctional reign of Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, an absolute and utter misfit for any public office, was visited upon Nigerians.
It remains telling that only Goodluck Ebele Jonathan could have made an ethnic and religious bigot attractive to the same Nigerians that had rejected him (Muhammadu Buhari) a resounding three times (2003, 2007 and 2011) prior to his resounding victory in the 2015 general elections.

In case some have forgotten how we got here, this was the "scorecard" of the PDP misrule, particularly under Jonathan:
a) Coffers-to-personal account accountability (or lack-there-of) where public funds were used for personal gain including the extravagant wedding of GEJ's daughter http://www.myjoyonline.com/…/goodluck-jonathans-daughter-re….
b) An aviation industry (once led by Femi Fani-Kayode and then later by the certificate forging Stella Oduah) that was nothing short of a death trap. I should know as I lost a close relative, Deji Falae (Ondo State Commisioner for Culture and Tourism at the time) to one of those unfortunate but far-too-common air crashes under the PDP misrule.
c) Fabricated economic numbers embellished masterfully by sycophants in the Finance and Economic Ministries to obfuscate the fact that the average Nigerian could not afford the most basic amenities under the Jonathan misrule.
d) Religious over-reach where Jonathan consistently employed openly the advise and services of so-called Christian Pastors and even embarrassed the country by taking his whole cabinet to Israel to "pray". Can you imagine the outcry from the same hypocritical CAN (Christian Association of Nigeria) and their egunje leadership if PMB had gone to Saudi Arabia with his whole cabinet to pray?
e) Under Jonathan, the bigotry and balkanization of Nigeria was effectively set in motion as Jonathan was essentially committed to the disintegration of Nigeria; and this was made even more apparent with the systematic decimation of the Nigerian Armed Forces. Jonathan, in an act of subterfuge against the Nigerian state, then employed foreign mercenaries (former South African soldiers under the apartheid racist regime) to fight Boko Haram at the end of his unfortunate misrule.
f) Do Nigerians also forget that Jonathan attempted to scuttle the democratic process during this period of shame and disgrace to the Nigerian nation by postponing the elections?
g) The use of the DSS to terrorize, intimidate and kill (thousands of people disappeared without trace) Nigerians in the North, the SE and the SW (in particular) with Femi Fani-Kayode, Ayo Fayose and Musiliu Obanikoro leading the assault on political opponents in the SW with the firm support of the DSS, much like the days of Nazi Germany. Unfortunately, that weaponization of a State Security apparatus against the citizenry has continued under the autocratic administration of Muhammadu Buhari.
h) Nigeria became a pariah state under Jonathan and effectively lost its voice both on the African continent and globally. Anyone who underestimates the forces that are against this current administration with its stated desire to sanitize the nation must be truly misinformed. The forces are both spiritual and physical and I will caution Nigerians that those who forget the past are condemned to repeat it.
And the circus basically continued under the rudderless and despotic rulership (note I didn’t use the term leadership) of Muhammadu Buhari, who proved himself to be just as incompetent a leader as he was as a soldier. Sadly, the teeming masses of hardworking and highly industrious Nigerians remain saddled with an unbecoming band of brigands and marauders as so-called leaders.
Nigerians need to realize that they are merely pawns in the game of high stakes chess being played by a corrupt and morally bankrupt political class. The truth is they (the political class) even intermarry and are not bothered by ethnic or religious so-called differences, while at the same time fanning the embers of ethnic and religious warfare among the desperately poor who just would like to have a fair shake in life, for once.

While I am not personally a big fan of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the current President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, he is actually making tough decisions required to turn the tide of gross economic mismanagement that had occurred during decades of PDP misrule. Now, those same PDP band of brigands and their undulating appendage of parasitic acolytes, have created another alphabet soup organization called the ADC or the African Democratic Congress.
The only thing democratic about this new conduit for looting and unbridled thievery, is the legalization of it by the same parasitic kleptocrats that have bled Nigeria dry. As the late Sunny Okosun said in his famous song from almost three decades ago, "Which way Nigeria. Which way to go?" The answer lies squarely in the hands of the Nigerian people and the sooner they realize how much power they have to make a change, the sooner that change will come.
Heaven, as they say, helps those who help themselves. Recycling proven crooks and eternal back-room deal makers like Atiku, Peter Obi, Nasir El-Rufai and Rotimi Amaechi under whatever auspices is simply putting lipstick on a pig. The latter is still just that, a pig!

10 key leadership skills for successful cross-functional team management
An organization's cross-functional team provides many benefits and can be a veritable asset in helping to ward off divergent obstacles, that naturally arise in the workplace.
Management is key to determining whether your cross-functional team either delivers on a consistent basis or itself becomes an impediment to its effectiveness. A well organized, transparent and flexible management structure is crucial in ensuring the success of a cross-functional team.
The following represent some key leadership characteristics of a successful cross-functional team.....
a) Effective Organization - To manage a team of such diversity and complexity, you’ll need a system for organizing deadlines, files, notes, data, research, and whatever else you bring to the project.
b) Equally Effective Communication - Without a clear but concise strategy for effective communication, your cross-functional team doesn’t stand a chance. This is the first and most crucial component of your team’s success and should not be taken lightly.
c) Unified Objectives - It is extremely vital that every one of your team members understands the importance of the task(s) at hand. Keep in mind that the responsibilities of the cross-functional team are often in addition to your team members’ already established duties. If they don’t value the cross-functional team’s objective, they won’t put in the time or effort you require. Help them understand why the team’s objectives should matter to them.
d) Clarity of Purpose - When working with a cross-functional team, conflict and misunderstandings that result in a lack of accountability are commonplace.You can prevent potentially frustrating situations by instituting clearly-stated goals and expectations, not only for the team but on an individual level as well.
e) Conflict Resolution - As should be expected, when a team is comprised of people from different functional areas of any organization, you are going to experience some conflict. It’s important to be prepared to handle this naturally-evolving conflict effectively. Many industry experts suggest you provide your cross-functional team with conflict-resolution training before bringing them together.
f) Be Flexible - One of the greatest benefits of a cross-functional team is that it fosters innovation. By bringing several different areas of expertise together into a positively enabling work environment, you’re creating fertile ground for fresh ideas and new, game-changing insights to flourish. To take advantage of these ideas and help the company improve, you must be flexible, open-minded, and allow these opportunities to manifest. The worst thing you can do to your cross-functional team is to stifle it with narrow thinking.
g) Only The Best (OTB) - Before assembling your "A-Team", it is advisable to spend some time defining the team’s goals, while making a list of the strengths and skills required to accomplish those goals. You will then be able to put together the "perfect team" according to your predefined list of required skills and qualifications.
h) Requisite Cohesion - Provide ample opportunities for your team members to get to know each other better through team-building exercises (both indoor and outdoor). This will foster a spirit of mutual trust and engender a unanimity of purpose and direction.
i) BEFA (Build Each For ALL) - It is important to get to know each member of the cross-functional team with a view to ensuring that the sum of each person's individual strengths is commensurate with the PIE (Professional, Intellectual and Emotional) Capacity needed for the team to achieve its defined objectives.
j) Individual Accolades - Even though at the end of the day, it is all about achieving something tangible for the team/organization, remember to acknowledge the contributions of each member of the team towards realizing the desired goal of the project.

Islamic State (ISWAP) moved $30M annual revenue through Nigeria's financial system under Buhari government - ECOWAS organization

The Inter-Governmental Action Group against Money Laundering in West Africa, established by the Economic Community of West African States, says Boko Haram splinter group, Islamic State West Africa Province, moved about $30 million generated from trading and taxing communities in the Lake Chad region through the Nigerian financial system annually, under the past Buhari administration.
The group, set up by ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government in 2000, stated that both Boko Haram and ISWAP had continued to mobilize, move and utilize funds through the nation’s formal financial and commercial system.
It noted that the Buhari administration lacked adequate insight into Boko Haram and ISWAP’s international connections and support system, and abuse of the formal financial and commercial sectors.
It said even though the Department of State Services (DSS) had significant ability to identify and investigate the financing activities of terrorist groups, while also also conducting parallel financial and terrorism investigations, there was little evidence of the effectiveness of such efforts, under the Buhari administration.

Flashback - Atiku Abubakar: Corruption Incorporated
Nigerian opposition presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar said he is willing to disclose his assets if compelled by law and denied a new corruption allegation against him ahead of the Feb. 25 election, the BBC reported on Tuesday.
Atiku, who was vice president from 1999 to 2007, is the main opposition People's Democratic Party's candidate and among the top three contenders to take over from President Muhammadu Buhari, whose final term ends in May.
The candidate, a 76-year-old businessman, has previously faced allegations of corruption, which he denies.
Atiku told the BBC he would disclose his assets if a law was enacted requiring it and that he would "take it in good faith" if he lost the election.
"The law doesn't provide that we should make it (assets) public. But if the law says we should make it public, I will make it public. I don't mind it," he said.
A ruling party official last week filed a motion with the High Court in Abuja asking it to order the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and other agencies to arrest and prosecute Atiku over a leaked audio.
On the audio, which Reuters has not verified, someone who sounds like Atiku describes a plan to divert funds from government projects and cover up that the person received the money.
When asked to comment on the audio, Atiku told the BBC: "That voice has disclosed nothing new."
When pressed if it was his voice in the audio he said, "Nothing new."
"All what I know, all corrupt practices or corrupt allegations against me have been investigated in this country more than anybody else and nothing was found against me."
Atiku figured prominently in the corruption trial of former U.S. Representative William Jefferson, who was accused of trying to bribe Atiku in an effort to expand a technology business in Nigeria. Jefferson was convicted in 2009 and sentenced to 13 years in prison. His sentence was subsequently reduced.
Separately, U.S. Senate investigators in 2010 alleged that one of Atiku's four wives helped him transfer more than $40 million in "suspect funds" into the United States from offshore shell companies.

VIRTUE AND VALUE: THE TWO PILLARS OF A GODLY LIFE

In a world obsessed with fame, wealth, and appearances, many have lost sight of what truly matters: virtue and value. These two elements form the foundation of a purposeful, impactful Christian life. While value speaks of what you carry — your God-given worth and contribution — virtue reflects how you carry it — the godly character that upholds and preserves your value.
What Is Virtue?
Virtue refers to moral excellence, goodness, purity, and strength of character. It is the visible fruit of inner transformation by the Holy Spirit.
“And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance… godliness… brotherly kindness… charity.”2 Peter 1:5-7
Virtue is not optional for believers — it is the first thing Peter says to add to our faith. Why? Because without virtue, our faith becomes empty profession.
Examples of Virtue: Integrity (Proverbs 10:9)Purity (Matthew 5:8).Patience (James 1:4).Kindness (Ephesians 4:32)
What Is Value?
Value is the unique worth and purpose God has placed in your life. You are not random. You were made to add something meaningful to the world and the Body of Christ.
“Ye are the salt of the earth… Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid.”Matthew 5:13-14 (KJV)
This means your presence should preserve, brighten, and influence your world positively. To live a valueless life is to bury your God-given talent (see Matthew 25:14–30).
The more value you add to your self the more your worth.
Example of value
Spiritual Gifts:Teaching, healing, prophecy, intercession, wisdom(1 Corinthians 12:7–11 )“But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.” Are you a teacher, add more value be upgrading your knowledge daily. Learn something new daily not only in your area of expertise but in general knowledge.
God-Given Talents and Skills: Singing, writing, organizing, leadership, craftsmanship, hospitality(Exodus 31:2-5 ) God filled Bezalel with skill and ability to design for the tabernacle. Are you a singer? Keep composing until your song not only go viral but is rendered in every home around the world .
Experience and Wisdom:Life lessons, maturity, counsel, spiritual insight(Job 12:12) “With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding.” A you a pastor, come to the pulpit every time with a fresh revelation soaked in prayer. Bishop Oyedepo says where there is rain people will bring there bucket to fetch water. Don’t complain that people are leaving your church, add value to yourself and even those who left with return and you will attract fresh members daily- Acts 2:47. Don’t fake prophecy just stay more in God’s presence and you will have more heavenly, accurate prophecies to give to your parishioners.
Your Capacity to Solve Problems: The more problems you solve the more valuable you become. Joseph interpreted Pharaoh’s dreams. Pharaoh said to Joseph, “There is none so discreet and wise as thou art. He established the universal system of retirement. Daniel in Babylon, established the philosophy of self discipline. Esther in the palace, established the principle of purity and solving national problem .
The Relationship Between Virtue and Value
Your virtue sustains your value. Gifting and charisma may take you to a high place, but without godly character (virtue), you won’t last there.
“A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.” Proverbs 22:1 (KJV):
This is why some rise fast but fall even faster — they had value but lacked virtue. A person of great value without virtue is like a powerful engine with no brakes — bound for destruction.
How to Add Virtue and Value to Your Life
Daily Devotion and the Word of God – (Psalm 119:9)
Fellowship with the Holy Spirit – (Galatians 5:22-23)
Learning and Personal Development (Proverbs 4:7)
Serving Others – (Mark 10:45)
Living with Eternal Purpose – (Colossians 3:2)
Keep in mind: God won’t anoint who you pretend to be; He empowers who you are becoming in Christ.
Conclusion:
In a world that celebrates outward success but often neglects inner substance, God is calling His people to a higher standard — one marked by virtue and value. Your value is what God has deposited in you to bless the world; your virtue is the character that protects and expresses that value with integrity. One without the other is incomplete. As believers, we must not only know our worth but also walk in holiness so that our impact will be lasting and our lives will truly reflect Christ.
Let us pursue both with diligence — building our lives on truth, walking in the Spirit, and being vessels of honor in our generation.

‘Buhari tried to kill me in 2021, but he’s dead now’ – Sunday Igboho
Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Igboho, has reacted to the death of former President, Muhammadu Buhari.
Naija News reports that the activist recalled the 2021 raid at his Ibadan home by security operatives under Buhari’s administration.
In a video shared on social media, Igboho expressed deep gratitude to God for preserving his life.
He said he was thankful to be alive today, while the former president, who allegedly ordered the deadly attack on him, had passed away.
Igboho recounted how, on the night of July 1, 2021, operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) and soldiers stormed his house in the middle of the night, in what he described as an attempt to kill him.
He described the late president as a “criminal Fulani man” and claimed some Yoruba collaborators helped in planning the attack.
He said: “I thank God for my life today. My people, Buhari don die. See life. The Buhari criminal man that sent the DSS and military to come and kill me middle in the night, in July 1st, 2021.
“He died today see life. my people we’re supposed to learn about this that criminal man Buhari. he don die see i’m alive today i thank god god thank you for my life today. Criminal fulani man with some stupid Yoruba people that he gang up and come to my house, middle of the night, that I tried to take my life, but God said no. If God said yes, nobody can say no. God said no. See life, he don die today. Thank God.”
Former President Muhammadu Buhari died in London on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at about 4:30 p.m., after a prolonged illness.

This is why they stopped teaching history in Nigerian schools. Why? The Fulani hegemony has always hinged its stranglehold over Nigeria on the ability it has always had to control the Nigerian narrative, from a socio-political and historical standpoint.
The Fulani Jihad led by Usman Dan Fodio (the terrorist progenitor of the Sokoto Caliphate) swept through the house of kingdoms like a storm, toppling kings and replacing thrones with turbans.
Ilorin had once been a Yoruba border town under the control of the Oyo empire, but fell to the advancing Fulani cavalry of terrorists due to internal strife and betrayal by one of its own, Afonja, the then Aare Onakakanfo (Supreme Military General) of the Oyo empire.
The Fulani Jihadists have one singular vision - To dip the Quran and the sword into the sea, a euphemism instructive of a chilling metaphor for a campaign of total domination to overrun all of Yoruba land by force of arms, to Fulanize and Islamize every town, every village and every soul that stands in their path .
It is driven by an inordinate ambition cloaked in religion but rooted in imperialism and ruthless expansionism.
The resounding defeat of the Fulani at Ogbomosho by the combined forces of Ogbomosho and Ijaye is one of the many lessons of history that must be taught our children and generations to come.
The Fulani (still under the cloak of religion with the Sultan of Sokoto) are masters of the long game, and must NEVER be trusted!
